Money Quiz 1 Year, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Nowadays it is not necessary to be on tv-show to earn money with trivia knowledge. In December I saw a link to a game site called Texas Quiz Em and after testing it I also checked if there are other sites on the web as well where one can win money. Here are some sites and short comments from me. For sure these are not all so please continue the list with similar games sites you know.

www.texasquizem.com - Quiz in poker format. Possibility to choose game mode per speed/knowledge. Bonus tournament for best players once a month. Very nice site and a great idea, but too few players at the moment. Some of the gamerooms are multilingual (at the moment just two languages), which is good.

www.247trivia.com - Other gamesite where I have registered. Four different formats of quizzes available. Possible to play both alone or against others. Part of the questions seems to be directed to US users, which makes it difficult for non-US players to win.

quizformoney.com - no comment. If someone has played this please let us know what type of game this is.

Additionally I know that there are some sites in local languages but maybe it better to list the quizzes in English/multilingual and make separate lists for other languages, if necessary. Of course one should also remember that winning is not automatical. Money comes from other players or service provider so it is good to be prepared that one doesn't automatically win in the beginning. Fortunately it is possible to first practice for free before starting to play for real money.

Possibly this, money quizzes, could be an article idea for this site?

Hi Nkwimbo,

Welcome to the forum

Thanks for taking the time to write this post about money quizzes.

I think it is funny, since the original idea with 1st-Quiz was to establish a gamesite based on quizzes. I played some online poker back then, so it made perfectly sense to me.

1st-Quiz became something else, as U can see - but I still find it exciting, though I don't play my self.

I like the idea of writing an article about money quizzes - I will put it on my todo list.

Have a nice day

I found one more site related to this topic. www.triviamania.com. BUT if one has a closer look at what users are writing in the forum, which is by the way readable to any visitor on that page, it looks like the site has serious problems and all players are disappearing. Or at least trying to disappear, but since they can't get their money out of the site they still keep on writing posts to the forum and hoping that someone would read them. Scary...

I gave them a quick visit, looks flashy, but I don't like it in general, when I have to download to play anything. But I was tempted, I must admit

I agree that it is not the best solution for users that one has to download software on computer before playing. Good to hear anyway that the game itself is good.

I have played some practice games on 247trivia.com recently and also tried to hit the Jackpot couple of times (unsuccessfully though). Now I am looking forward to the bonus tournament at texasquizem.com on Sunday. Last month I came 8th and won 13€ from this tournament. Back then the pot was bigger than now so prizes will now be lower as well. 10 best players usually get money from bonus tournament, winner gets close to half of the full pot. I read on their webpage that if you invite a friend to join texasquizem.com then you can get bonuspoints for free - and bonus points entitle to attend the bonus tournament. So it's not too late to get some trivia action for Sunday evening...
