If you are in the process of inviting a few people over for a quiz evening, you would probably be better off crossing Kevin Ashman off your list. Kevin Ashman is possibly the most rightening competitor anyone will ever have - he has won pretty much every quiz show and tournament he has taken part in, among them several World Championships.
His list of wins includes tv shows "Fifteen to One", "Mastermind", "Brain of Britain", "Top Brain", and also the European and World Quizzing Championships individual competition as well as the teams competition.
Possibly; his most notable win was on the TV show Mastermind in 1995. He scored an incredible 41 points with no passes on the subject "The life and work of Martin Luther King" - a record unbeaten to this day.
Kevin Ashman of Winchester, England, became interested in quizzes after he, in his mid-twenties, graduated from University of Southampton with a degree in history. He now makes a living from quizzes - winning cash prizes, and having also been question-setter on the Radio 4 show Brain of Britain for four years from 2002 to 2006.
Before that he worked as a civil servant in the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
